The Okta connector for Elimity Insights fetches users, groups and applications from Okta so you can keep in control of your environment. 

Follow the instructions below to set up the connector for your environment.

How it works

• Elimity Insights periodically fetches users, groups and applications from Okta.
• Write Elimity Insights queries to review and monitor updates to the data, or leverage existing queries.
• Configure these stored queries to take action when the Elimity Insights data changes.

Integration requirements

Setting up an Okta source in Elimity Insights requires:

• a user in Okta to create an API token,
• a user in Elimity Insights with the role Connector Admin or higher.

Integration instructions

Follow the following steps to set up an Okta source in Elimity Insights:

1. Log in to Okta as an admin and note down your Okta host domain (e.g., example.okta.com).
   
   
2. Optionally, create a user that only has read rights on your Okta data.
   
   
3. Log in to Okta as admin or as the new read-only user and create a new API token for this user (at 'Security > API > Tokens'). Be sure to store the token in a secure place.
   
   
4. Provide your Okta host domain and the API token in the form to the left.
